Maiza Lima is a quickly emerging name in the climbing community, but her history of trauma, adversity, and courage has never been told... Until now. When Maiza immigrated to the United States with her mother, they left behind an abusive home in their remote Brazilian village. It wasn't until she was introduced to climbing in the Rocky Mountains that she rekindled a connection with her inner child and found empowerment in the outdoors. This project was the capstone to the Stewards of the Land campaign produced for Duckworth, the world’s only source-verified, single-origin Merino wool clothing company.
